Cate Brancart
Cate Brancart is a part of the GAMA Brussels team that represents the General Aviation (GA) manufacturing industry before the European institutions. Cate's focus is on operations, policy, and communications efforts to improve the conditions for GA in Europe, including better safety data, flight training and access to the new technologies.
Cate is a passionate aviator who co-owns a Piper Arrow, in which she won the Spa Air Rally competition in Belgium. When she is not flying Cate also has a passion for sailing. A Belgian national, fluent in French, English and Flemish, Cate received her M.A. from City University in London, UK, and her B.A. from the Brussels Institute of Higher Studies of Social Communications (IHECS) in Belgium.
Cate is very involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within general aviation, a sector she is very fervent about. She is also the Co-Chair for the Working Group 125 of EUROCAE creating standards for Next Generation Aviation Professionals (NGAP). She represents AviAll - Aviation for All in most of the European General Aviation events and works hard on growing a common effort to better the industry.
